The report describes a research study measuring the frequency and cost of Sex Reassignment Surgery on US residents, and extrapolates the results to predict the cost if an employer or insurer should decide to cover the surgery, both Male-to-Female and Female-to-Male. It goes on to predict the total cost of Transgender Health Benefits (THBs) including hormones and mental health.
